I will say suppressor normalization. The fact that hearing protection is regulated while unsuppressed guns damage hearing is backwards. Europe figured this out decades ago. The more people realize suppressors are safety equipment, not hitman tools, the better. Let's keep pushing for easier access and lower costs...

I'm with you. Once you shoot with a suppressor, it feels weird to go back. Protecting your hearing shouldn't be a luxury..

As for a gun trend (firearm not accessories) I’ll have toe stick with old school “metal & wood”. Finely crafted and finished.

I’ve trashed more than a couple….leaving them in a damp closet (water leak that went unnoticed for a while), dropping them on gravel/concrete/etc, and scratching them on rocks, brush, chain link fences and the like. But, unlike plastic, they were all brought back to their original glory either by myself or skilled gunsmiths and refinishers.

I did enjoy firing the “shush shush” cans but my experience is that they tend to ‘spray’. Only experience is with a Sparrow for a .22 I had. Still have the can though. It’s not a “sellable” item due to the transfer and tax stamp cost.
