As for a gun trend (firearm not accessories) I’ll have toe stick with old school “metal & wood”. Finely crafted and finished.
I’ve trashed more than a couple….leaving them in a damp closet (water leak that went unnoticed for a while), dropping them on gravel/concrete/etc, and scratching them on rocks, brush, chain link fences and the like. But, unlike plastic, they were all brought back to their original glory either by myself or skilled gunsmiths and refinishers.
I did enjoy firing the “shush shush” cans but my experience is that they tend to ‘spray’. Only experience is with a Sparrow for a .22 I had. Still have the can though. It’s not a “sellable” item due to the transfer and tax stamp cost.
