Has anyone here ever used these type of shells for hunting?
Remingotn HD

I have 2 boxes that I bought for coyote hunting, but never used any yet. Although I pattern test them at 40 yrds I had great result. The BB shot would penetrate through a 3/8" plywood at 40.

I bought two boxes when they first came on market back circa 2000.

I have some buck loads. I don't hunt anymore but in "times of trouble, Father Buck calls to me, singing words of wisdom" (apologies to Paul Simon!). Stocked up on 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2" buck and slugs.

I remember those old Remington HD loads, they were really something for coyotes back then. My buddy would use the BB version for the winter dogs and the way it penetrated, it was just brutal compared to regular lead. If those things still patterned decent after all these years, I'd definitely take them hunting again instead of just letting them sit around.

The Wingmaster HD uses tungsten iron shot, which patterns tighter than steel and hits almost as hard downrange as lead. A BB shot from that at 40 yards can be legit for coyotes.

Don’t know those shells personally but BB through 3/8” plywood at 40 yards is great. That coyote’s in for a bad time.
