I saw someone sweep the entire firing line with a loaded gun while turning around to ask a question. Everyone hit the deck, RSO was on him instantly, and the guy got kicked out. That 180-degree muzzle sweep with his finger on the trigger could've killed someone...safety isn't negotiable and some people shouldn't be allowed to handle firearms.

That is the exact reason I enjoy a private club membership. When they offer public days I stay away. Not a lot of issues at our range. When big groups reserve a range or public is the, RSO’s are all over it. That’s the kind of thing that gets the ranges closed down.

I'd bet that person left in a huff, blaming the range and people there.

We shoot on our own land. Unless with us we prohibit hunting or shooting on our land. This is because there have been numerous occasions of people, guests AND even the non-resident land owners who should know better, becoming directionally challenged in the trees and we have shots zinging through the trees at our home.
