I picked up a vintage Mosin–Nagant M91/30 at a surplus sale and spent the weekend getting it running and shooting. The patina, the stamped Soviet markings and that bolt action made every round feel like a step back in time. It needed a deep clean and a quick sight adjustment, but once dialed in, it shot surprisingly well. There’s something special about these old rifles , they demand patience and reward it with character. Surplus guns like this are pure history in your hands!
