I'm between a compact 9mm and something smaller but can't decide what's right, what are you guys carrying daily? Holster recommendations would be great too

Most people start with a compact 9mm, like a Glock 19 or a Sig P365. The P365 and its clones are huge right now because they give you 10+ rounds in a package that basically disappears. Holster-wise, you need an Appendix Carry (AIWB) holster from a company like Tenicor or T-Rex Arms. It sounds uncomfortable but they carry small guns like the P365 best, are super fast, and you can't beat the concealment....just practice your draw and forget about the tacticool junk

We (wife and I) went through several incarnations of EDC. From J-Frame & K-Frame sized revolvers of several brands and calibers. Small 25, 32, 380 pocket pistols and several 9mm mostly Glocks. Even 38 Super and 45 acp semi-autos.

After several years I have found what is, to me, the near perfect solution. I bought the wife a Sig P-365 which she fell in love with. I liked it so much I switched from my Glock G-27 (with a 357 Sig barrel) to a P-365 for myself. Less power but more rounds!

I am large (6', 250 lbs= I lost about 70 lbs in the last year). Even at 300 lbs, the holster I am using was comfortable and concealed well. At my current weight, it conceals the P-365 under an un-tucked t-shirt. It is the Urban Carry LockLeather OWB.

Good news is that it is quite a bit under $100.00!!!

Hey that one looks almost like mine, except the two tone is reversed.
I tired two other grip sets, put the OEM ones back one.

The woman just got a wee pocket 38 Special. Her Ruger Security Six is too heavy for her.

I also would suggest a revolver. They do not jam. you can leave them loaded forever.
If you need a box of ammo to hit something, then you need to practice more.

The 38 Special is right up there with the 9mm, but you can get way more powerful rounds than any 9mm made. Longer case means more powder.

If I were you I would consider a 357 mag snubby. Then run 38 Special +P thru it.
