I got some of this ammo a year ago. This performs better that anything I have ever used. 9mm and at 2000 FPS it is unbelievable. You can go on Youtube and see some of the tests, they are very impressive. It's not cheap but it will defeat #2 body armor. I got mine at Midway USA

I carried various J-frame Smiths for a long time. A few years ago, I acquired Browning 1911-22 and a 1911-380. The 380, with today's defense loads is my choice. It's light, flat and easy to conceal. I have a fair amount of experience with standard .45 ACP 1911's, so I'm comfortable with single action semi-autos. They have both been very reliable.

I always plink with the cheap ammo when I go to a range or out to BLM land. I’m just there to ensure functionality and have some fun.

I practice with my carry gun but only with my intended carry ammo. Nothing worse than practicing with wad cutters and feeling real comfortable then putting a mag/cylinder full of magnums through it only to find that you’re nowhere near as accurate with the hotter loads.

Remember the old adage “Practice what you preach”? Very close to “Practice with what you’ll carry”….both gun and ammo.

I shoot an equivalent (but cheaper) round for practice and finish with a magazine of the "real" stuff!

I do the same. So far, my Browning has digested all that's put in it.

I always leave the price tags on my ammo. The "real stuff" went up, then way down. Weird. So I bought more.

I buy either HST, Gold Dot, or Winchester Ranger for 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP. All of my guns will digest that in the various weights and standard pressure or +P. I can usually get those fairly cheap in LE 50 round boxes.

Rimfire Fanatic…….based on your screen name I’m curious as to where the heck you find those calibers in rimfire !!

Liberty Civil Defense is legitimately fast but that fragmentation pattern is worth understanding before you commit to carrying it. Terminal performance in barriers behaves differently than gel tests suggest.
