Unpopular opinion: tailgating is overrated

Standing in a parking lot for hours before a game never made sense to me. I'd rather just go inside when it starts. Everyone acts like tailgating is amazing but I don't get it. What's something everyone loves that you think is overrated? Drop your hot takes.

Tailgating feels like more hassle than fun. I’m with you, just let me grab a seat and enjoy the game.

Not a sports fan, so little interest! The few games I've gone to are like movies: Grab a snack and get seated!!!!

I don’t mind the tailgaters enjoying themselves and having a party in the parking lot. I’ve even enjoyed some of their food when they were kind enough to offer. Happens they were having a competition of sorts so they were after unbiased opinions.

I do take issue with some tailgaters who use it as an excuse or a means to get hammered before the game even starts. Then they tend to be unruly when they do enter the stadium hardly being able to navigate their way the their seat. That’s annoying.

Been drug to casinos twice.
Sitting in front of a machine hitting a button is the most boring thing I have ever seen.
Dropped $10 and made my way to the lounge and watched the fishies in the tank .
