Nothing to do with guns except I was carrying.

Not today but the last couple of days: Drove over the passes to Seattle for a follow-up exam to throat surgery in Nov. 2024. My six-month follow up had disclosed a small (2mm) bump remaining. It is in a very hard place to reach. The one-year follow up showed no increase in size. Check back again in a year.

Got a little snow on Snoqualmie Pass, none on Blewett. Still no measurable snow here in town!

Got behind some impaired/idiot/trainee semi driver from Alltrans Trucking on Blewett Pass (downhill side). Now Blewett has a speed limit of 60-65 (can easily be driven @ 70 mph in dry weather!), and this guy was doing 30-40 mph:mad:. He had a column of about 30 cars backed up!:eek::eek::mad::mad:. I counted and we were car #19 in his "Procession of Stupidity" and had at least ten behind us (That was as far back as I could see!). This guy either felt he had to do some payback to someone or was just an idiot! (Washington law says 5 or more cars and you have to pull over & let them pass!). BTW: He passed at least a dozen "Slow Traffic pullouts!" w/o stopping!

On the other hand, we stopped for great pastrami in Issaquah on the way and at Fatburger for a great burger on the way back! Neither great burgers or great pastrami are available here in town! Using left-over pastrami for hash tonight! Home grown potatoes!

Have a Trifecta of Birthdays this week: My wife and two of her best friends. I usually host a fish fry and clam chowder feed but, with the tariffs, clams are really pricey; therefore, a spaghetti feed instead. Red sauce, fettuccine Alfredo, aglio e olio (for our vegan friend), bruschetta, sausage, meatballs, Caesar salad, & garlic bread. Prepping today and eating tomorrow!!!!

That’s good news on the follow-up. That semi would’ve had me losing it, but pastrami, Fatburger and a big birthday spaghetti dinner definitely soften the blow.

That's quite the trip! How’s your throat feeling after the follow-ups, any lingering effects from the surgery?
