My "Good ol' Days"

When I was shooting SASS (Cowboy Action Shooting), I belonged to an informal group called the "Warthogs". We shot authentic period firearms (I shot two SAA Colts in 45 cal, a replica 1873 Winchester, and an authentic 1897 Winchester that was marked "Adams Express Company or a double barrel coach gun with hammers), 40 cal or bigger, black powder shells, and dressed in period clothing with boots. No blue jeans, tennis shoes, etc.

Until the "Gamers" took over!! Large targets, 32 cal and 25-20 pistols with "mouse loads"! If it "dinged" it was counted!
