Yeah, you're probably right, it feels like a recipe for a legal mess. 😂 I'd bet the WA Fish and Wildlife folks would have a field day with that. The way the author wrote it, sounds like some fun though
 
For all those Missouri Mules out there, no doubt. Personally, as a biologist, I feel that squirrels are just rats with hairy tails! Pigeons are just rats with feathers.
 
One thing is for sure: there is a huge abundance of western grays here. We actually love 'em. Beautiful and fun to watch in their shenanigans. They do no damage and cause no problems. We are happy to leave them alone. It's the gray diggers that damage the vehicles and raid the gardens.

Oh, and we have hybrids between the two that are also a problem.
