Let's start one that discusses non-revolvers as a carry pistol.

I've carried legally for over 20 years now. I've run the gamut from Colt Commanders to Walther pp to a range of Glocks. The list included:

Colt Commander 45 acp. (A bit large)
Colt Commander (1951) with real ivory grips, in 38 Super (A bit large)
Colt Enhanced Officer's in 45 acp (a bit heavy).
Gock-43
Glock 26 (replaced with G-27)
Glock 27 (Converted to 357 Sig)
Glock 20 SF (woods carry)
Walther ( (32 acp)
Bersa 380 (retired in favor of Glocks)
Colt Vest pocket 25 acp (Going to store gun)
Colt Junior (Also, going to store gun)
Beretta 22 short (I KNOW!!)

And, the winner is... (drum roll please!!!):
Sig P-365!!!!

Second place: Glock 27 in 357 Sig.

EDIT: I forgot, a Ruger LCP 380 for "Going to the store".

My EDC for many years was a Titanium 342 38 Special. It's light and handy, easy in the pocket, but brutal when fired! I recently bought a new 432-uc in 32 H&R magnum. It adds one more round to a very short-range defensive piece. Energy, using a 80-90 grain bullet is the same as a 380 auto with the same weight bullet. My secondary piece is a SIG P365. It's a little harder to bury when wearing shorts.

Cargo shorts work well-I wear cargo pants or jeans. Try an Urban Carry LockLeather OWB. Conceals nicely under a loose t-shirt or camp shirt! Found it conceals better than any IWB I've tried and is super comfortable!
