New Query on "Classic Rock".

OK, I consider "Classic Rock" as music from the mid to late 60's through the latter part of the 70's. We all get "ear worms"--you know those songs you hear on the radio, in a dream, or that just pop into your head and you can't get them out! Here's one of mine:

List yours: use your definition of "rock": Could be Zeppelin (Black Dog, Immigrant Song), Jimi (Purple Haze, All along the Watchtower), Cream, Heart, Janis, Jefferson Airplane, Creedence, Stones?? Whatever grabs you and won't let go!

I relate with your picks but I would include Pink Floyd, Robin Trower, Styx, Foreigner, and on and on. Chicago, Electric Light Orchestra.... Another label I used is 'Classic Album" and that is one that every song on it is excellent and the arrangement becomes some kind of theme like Dark Side of the Moon, or Bridge of Sighs. I rather disliked hearing a single song on AM radio because the rest of the album was missing. But in some cases that popular song was the only good one on the album.

We have "Classic Vinyl" on the car radio. Those picks are, to me, too "Pop". Don't care for Pink Floyd (or U2), Styx, etc. Just after my time I guess. But that's what makes horse races!
