I first came across Montana Knife Company while tuning into the Dave Ramsey EntreLeadership podcast where Josh Smith was a guest. He shared some great insights into creating a brand that emphasizes American craftsmanship and quality. The knives definitely caught my eye—they seem well-made. However, I haven't had the chance to try one myself. Are any of you familiar with their products? How do they perform in practical use?

From the web site, I see that the Blackfoot knife has Magnacut steel, which is one the of the latest steels from CPM. I have a Kershaw with the Magnacut and it's a good steel.

It has a price of $300 which is in the ball park for that kind of knife. I do like the way the web site gives a good description of the knife.

I don't think you could go wrong with one of their knifes - just have buy one and find out, then let us all know.

Looked at the website. Some of the prices are up in the range of a Randall. Don't seem the same quality as a Randall, though!

Wonder about re0sale value?
