Just curious!! I've found tracks where a lion has followed me several times and had a jaguar follow me and some students while in Guatemala.

IF he was hunting them, they never would have seen or heard him!

Absolutely true. After this project deep in the forest began it took years before I stopped carrying a side arm. Most of the time anyway. The big and medium kitties here are not comfortable with two legged mammals and are long gone before the wife or I get close. Unless its dark. But if you're moving around the forest in the dark, armed or not, you're tempting fate.

A jaguar actually trailed our group once! We didn't even realize it until after it happened.
